Crack this nut

I want to explode Christ from inside of me. Just His Glory.

This past weekend I went on a trip up north. It was a journey of being drenched in Jesus, to walk with Him in revealing who He is. Essentially, preaching His Gospel, releasing miracles.

What a joy and privilege?

These spectacles of His beauty are like a feast for me. I was more than excited as I anticipated the coming weekend.

This is what I was made for. To be loved, to love Him, and delightfully radiate who He is. Through me. We have this very fragrant Glory in the inside of us.

How are we going to let it out?

When He graciously shows me the simplicity of who He is, and who I am… when I release temptation to think I can do anything, really, but love Him outrageously. And, even then, only the love of God can enable me to truly love.

I have this treasure, inside my jar of clay. I want the less of my jar, and the more of this treasure.

I think it’s about preferring our Lover over ourselves. I think it’s got a lot to do with being caught up in the thrill of who He is. Do we enjoy Him?

Jesus said, ‘go and proclaim the kingdom of God’ (Luke 9:61).

What is the kingdom of God for you? Is it freedom? Maybe you’re overcome by relentless joy? Is it hope when all seems faded? Perhaps it’s the comfort of a loving Father who never abandoned you, or, the redemption from pain and destruction. We wake up each morning, we go to sleep each night, with the kingdom of God inside of us. What does our salvation, what does He mean to us?

What can we proclaim from the mountain tops?

What does proclaim mean? Is it speaking, or displaying through actions? It could be dancing in the place of mourning, or laughing instead of tears, singing rather than despairing?

How can we dive into the wonder of letting what He has done in us OUT?

“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of His heart will flow rivers of living water’” John 7:38

Living streams of water cannot be contained. How often do we try to contain our living Saviour?

Graciously He leads us. Let us not hold back! The only Hope, the only Way, true Life itself for the entire world is hidden inside of us. May we not keep Him hidden!

Oh Jesus! We need Your power in us, through us!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places” Ephesians 1:3

How incredibly blessed we are: we have eternal, innumerable gifts in Him.

What would happen if you stood up today and released one of these? What if you proclaimed true Hope, what the world is starving for? Maybe a revival would start. I have read how revival starts in the heart. First in us, and then the fire catches aflame in others’ hearts too.

Shall we be a revival; shall we start one?

In Him may our little shells crack wide open. Make way, for the King of Glory is riding through.

“Lift up your heads , O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in!” Psalm 24:7
